Making a Difference in the Lives of Refugees and Immigrants
Located on the North Side of Pittsburgh, PA, we serve primarily low-income immigrant and refugee families in need of immigration legal services.
In 2018, CIAC set out to serve 100 people by the end of 2019. We ended up helping over 200 clients in that time. Little did we know that with no advertising, God would continue to reveal to us how great the need for immigration services is in this city! We are on track to serve over 1,000 immigrants/refugees in 2024!
In Allegheny County alone, there are over 67,000 people who were born outside of the United States. Only 37% of people in immigration court have access to legal representation. The immense cost of the lengthy immigration legal process can crush the hopes of those who cannot afford to complete it. That's where CIAC makes a difference. We are able to provide high quality, low-cost legal services thanks to generous donors like you!
CIAC primarily helps individuals and families with issues surrounding Green Cards, Naturalization, Family Reunification, Asylum Claims and other related immigration cases. We welcome each immigrant and refugee with the love of Christ and uphold their dignity as we represent them, give them voice, and defend their rights.
